In our schools, Taekwon-Do students wears a white uniform (do-bok) with a belt (dti )o ( Tiui) tied around the waist. The belt color indicate the student's rank; in general, the darker the color, the higher the rank. The Taekwon-Do uniform must be clean and white with sewn on school patches. ( We suggest all students wait a short time to purchase a uniform just to make sure this class is what they expected and/or wanted.) Taekwon-do, along with many other martial arts, is traditionally performed in bare feet, though there are specialist training shoes that can sometimes be worn.
